Thematic Areas

Education
We firmly believe that theological education is a powerful catalyst for mitigating diverse social tensions. The focus is on ecumenical openness with the inclusion of local traditions. Our educational programs foster a respectful dialogue among citizens to discuss diverse values. Participants critically examine social issues and faith matters, actively contributing to problem resolution.

Health and Nutrition
In Cameroon, state health infrastructure is underdeveloped. Consequently, our projects prioritize providing basic medical care in rural areas. Basic medical care in camps for displaced persons is also part of this. Another focus is on the care of people living with the HIV virus, as well as general education campaigns on the subject of HIV and AIDS

Peace Building
In Cameroon, tensions or violence are on the rise. We actively collaborate with local communities to resolve conflicts, mitigate structural violence, and combat violence against women and children. Religious or ethnic aspects often play an important role in conflicts. Mission 21 brings its expertise in interreligious and intercultural peacebuilding to bear here.
