PAST ACTIVITIES OF ORGANIZATION

Empowering Vulnerable Communities Since 2000

Since its inception in 2000, Chriswov has been dedicated to improving the lives of vulnerable individuals. Our journey began with training widows on human rights, providing them with skills in pastry making, and offering startup capital, or what we call seed capital.
We have expanded our efforts to create educational opportunities by supplying basic school needs to orphans and vulnerable children (OVC). Our projects also include sensitization and education on gender-based violence (GBV) and the challenges faced by widows in patriarchal communities. We conduct outreach through radio, churches, and social groups to raise awareness. All these initiatives are ongoing, as the need for support continues to grow, especially in light of the Cameroon Anglophone Crisis in the Northwest and Southwest regions, which has exacerbated the suffering of our target groups.
Additionally, we provide support to vulnerable individuals living with HIV (PLWHIV), helping them adhere to their antiretroviral treatment regimens. Our commitment remains steadfast as we strive to uplift and empower those in need.
