Anembom Consulting Cameroon is a privately owned consultancy C.I.G with registration number NW/GP/30/06/10172 0f 3rd august 2006. It is made up of five staff with varied background that provides services to civil society organisations, businesses and municipal authorities. This makes it a leading institution in development issues. At AnC we research into the various areas of our work to make us a leading and innovative provider of development and business services. Our research component makes every client unique to us, as we meet individual needs at point.
OUR MISSION
Anembom Consulting engages to the promotion of good governance practices in the management of material, human and financial resources for durable and long lasting development of human capacities and natural resources. This puts AnC at the interface between people, managers and beneficiaries or clients; which involves putting our efforts, skills and knowledge at the disposal of municipal authorities, civil society organisations and businesses
OUR STRATEGIES
At the centre of our work is the development of tools and training for the transfer of knowledge to development managers and practitioners as agents at the forefront of human and material advancement.
OUR OBJECTIVES
- Develop user-friendly tools for the facilitation of development process
- Train trainers in the facilitation of participatory development process (as intermediaries)
- Build capacities of end users of development (community based organisations, councils and individuals)
- Facilitation of project management cycle (participatory planning, monitoring and evaluation of projects)
- Carry out environmental impact assessment.

Local Council Development Processes
In this domain, using various participatory tools, Anembom Consulting Cameroon realised the following:
The elaboration of council’s Development Plans for: Mbiame, Batibo, Belo and Bamenda 1 in the North West Region, and Tinto Council in the South West Region of Cameroon. These activities were sponsored by PNDP.( 2011-2020)
Detailed Monographic Studies for the councils of Tubah and Batibo was carried sponsored by Helvetas Cameroon.
Monographic Study of Mbingo Village, sponsoredby theMbingo Village Development Association (VDA)
In partnership with Tinto council Anembom Consulting conducted / carried out a detailed Monographic Study.
Policy and Strategy Development in Water Resource Management.
Water Resource Management Policy and Strategy (WRMP+S) is the transfer of knowledge and skills to local water managers and policy makers on the development of policy goals and strategic steps for sustainable water resource management within municipalities. The target is the municipality as the well-defined political and geographic unit, which can bring together village level water resource managers, representing village water committees.
Local Economic Development (LED)
Involves the transfer of knowledge and skills in developing the local economy at the level of a municipality. LED is a deliberate and sustained initiative undertaken by a council to initiate significant economic boom in the municipality; within a specific period. It gives the economic direction that the council will like to pursue by creating an enabling environment within the municipality to attract investment (from within and without)..
Project Cycle Management and Project Evaluation
Durable development requires attention at all points in the life of projects. Anembom Consulting accompanies her clients through all the phases of their development projects to ensure projects are rooted locally, meet the needs of the beneficiaries and are sustainable. In this area we provide technical expertise in the development of projects from concepts to actions. During implementation, we ensure regular monitoring and eventual evaluation.
Local Good Governance and Development Training
This training enlightens local development stakeholders on the relationship between the principles of good governance and the attainment of sustainable and participatory development through transparent and accountable project management. The target group for this training includes traditional rulers, village development association leaders and councillors.
Humanitarian Action
With the advent of the Humanitarian Crisis in the North West and South West Regions of Cameroon, Anembom Consulting Cameroon, in partnership with Mission 21 have not been left out. We have carried out a series of humanitarian actions in the North West and West regions of Cameroon.
Creation and and Running of a Multi-Talent Center in Foumbot for skills training. The target population is the vulnerable and the underprivileged in the community. This helps in providing them with a means of livelihood.
Agriculture
AnC runs a farm, the vision is to create employment for the vulnerable in the community and the proceeds used to assist the needy in the community.
Civic Education
Civic Education has increasingly become one of the major areas of intervention especially in this era of democratisation and decentralisation which are new concepts and not properly understood within the socio-political psyche of Cameroonian polity. These endeavours come with a cry for rights and oftentimes forgetting responsibilities, duties and proper understanding (education) of the true tenets of a democratic and decentralised society. These issues – rights, responsibilities, political tolerance etc. form the basis of the Civic Education Programme

-External Evaluation of Change Makers Project carried out by Youth Outreach Programme (YOP) on changing the behaviour of young people as a strategy for combating the spread of HIV/AIDS.

Institutional Diagnosis of INADES Bamenda
-External Evaluation of Craft activities in the North West Region.
-Elaboration of Kumbo Council Strategic Plan 2009-2013
Local Good Governance and Development Training
-35 training events for councils (Reaching out to over 1000 councillors and 275 council partners (heads government technical services and civil society leaders).
-Over 650 manuals on local governance distributed
-2007 Election: informed decision-making to educate the electorate on the role of councillors and good qualities such leaders must have. To realise this action, we had radio discussions over local radios in Bamenda – Radio Cameroon and Abakwa FM; and 10,000 A4 sized flyers distributed to voters. AnC financed this initiative and its limited funds reduced coverage only to Bamenda and its environs.
-6 training events with 30 traditional rulers and 60 leaders of village development associations covering 30 villages and 92 council committee executives drawn from all 32 councils in the North West Region. These series of workshops were mandated by British Council Yaoundé, with funds from CIDA Canada and Westminster Foundation UK

-Distribution of Sanitary Kits to over 250 young girls and women and Water Kits to 100 Households in Ngehndzen in Nkum Sub-Division of the Bui Division of the North West Region.
-Covid-19 sensitization and distribution of Covid prevention gadget to Socio-professional groups in Mbiame in Mven Sub-Division of the Bui Division of the North West Region.
