OUR MISSION
At friends for the lost foundation, our mission is to create a brighter future for those facing the harshest realities of life. We strive to provide essential support, education, and empowerment to orphaned children, widows, and internally displaced refugees, fostering a sense of community and resilience.
OUR VISION
– Creating a sustainable and brighter future for those found in the hardest of situations. This has been tabulated in five years’ scheme each.
– This is done through capacity building and support for education petty trading and empowerment
OUR OBJECTIVES
- To promote and foster good corporation and relationship to the lost, the displaced, the orphans and the impeded in a bid to improve their lives.
- To assist and educate the displaced, the lost, impeded and the orphans in society through humanitarian gestures
- To carryout and promote both skill acquisition improvement and educational scholarship to educate, encourage and support the less privileged in the society.
- To work with similar group and exchange information and ideas with them through meetings, training courses and events.
- To work hand in glove with the competent technical services and take any action that is lawful to achieve its aims.

I have been a congregational church secretary for 10 years at PC Kotpchou, Christian Women Fellowship secretary for west presbytery for 3 years, I have equally been a secretary to the Parent Teachers Association (PTA) for GBPS Koptchou maetur). I attended training with UNISCO on child sexual abuse and child protection. I possess great time management skills and I am a responsible time-keeper during church seminars, and school seminars. I am able to set my priorities by following my class time-table and in line with my objectives. I have invigilated during First School Leaving Certificate and Government Common Entrance examinations. My hobbies include: reading, cooking, singing and sport (Football).

Past Activities of Organisation
DONATION OF SCHOOL NEEDS TO IDPS, ORPHANS AND VULNERABLE CHILDREN IN BAFOUSSAM WEST REGION PRECISELY IN MAETUR ON THE 26TH AUGUST 2024.
School re-opening for academic year 2024/2025 has been encouraging with the call for resumption, most parents are not able to provide basic education needs for their children with the economic crisis, parents are unable to meet up the basic needs especially school needs for their children. FFTLF therefore, provided basic materials including rubbing oil. This scheme targeted children from Bafoussam sub-division. The following criteria were used for the selection of beneficiaries.
- Pupils or students who are already enrolled in school that are IDPs
- Children who have lost one or both parents (this was verified from the community and neighbourhood).
- 60% of the beneficiaries were girls participants during the event included beneficiaries parents and guardians and wells as some executive members of FFTLF.
The main objective was to facilitate access to quality education for children (vulnerable children, IDPs and orphans in Bafousam 2 sub-division precisely at Maetur).
This was to raise parent’s awareness on the importance of education to children especially during this period of crisis because education cannot wait.
It was also aimed at purchasing and providing writing materials for vulnerable primary and secondary school children.
The handing ceremony took place at Maetur junction. The venue is central accessible and secured for beneficiary coming from all different directories. A total of 50 participants including youths, children, guardian, parent and executive members of FFTLF. From the 60 participants were 40 (29girls, 11boys) beneficiaries, 15parent and 5 executive members. School materials included: exercise books, pens, pencils, rulers, erasers, rain coats. Apart from school needs, children were taught production of rubbing oil where they went back with atleast a bottle of rubbing oil.
Other activities included awarenss of FFTLF as well as awareness on chid rejection.
Testimonies from beneficiaries, a girl of 15 year old beneficiary expressed great satisfaction for the school support and promised to make good use of the materials.
